Dr. Cherry on Men’s Health

In his latest video, Dr. Cherry talks about what men can do in the natural to support their health, specifically prostate health.

Video Highlights

In addition to being Men’s Health Month, June is also National Outdoors Month, so let’s start with a reminder that while you are enjoying the outdoors, you need to get 30 minutes of continuous movement each day, getting your heart rate up (the point where you can’t carry on a carry conversation) before you relax under the tree or head out onto the lake.

There are a number of health issues that come up with men, with heart disease being a major one. But the main focus today is on prostate problems. While only a small percentage of men develop prostate cancer, prostate enlargement is a much more wide-spread problem. In fact, 50% of men over age 50 will have prostate enlargement problems (60% of men over 60, and 90% of men over 80).

But God has provided natural compounds that help support prostate health, and may specifically address the issue of enlargement. These include saw palmetto, pygeum, beta-sitosterol and nettle root powder. Unfortunately, many saw palmetto products on the market don’t have adequate amounts of the key ingredient, so be sure to only use high quality products.

I have developed a nutritional supplement for the prostate with 16 ingredients that, when put together, provide a broad-spectrum approach. Prostate Support includes the above compounds as well as zinc, lycopene, pumpkin seed powder, soy isoflavones and others.

I encourage men – and also the women who take care of the men in their lives – to look into a broad-spectrum approach to prostate health. The key is to start early, before problems progress and need more drastic measures.

The subject shows my diagnosis and has spread into bones. That's the bad news. The good news is that the Lord has assured me of His healing me by His stripes and IS healing me now. For that we are very thankful. In the meantime He has said I was foolish to not follow the physicians directions to be treated with hormonal treatment. My question is: Is it too late to use your Prostate Support? In a very short discussion with the physician about using supplements, his comment was don't waste your money. This was before the final diagnosis was made. I value your opinion, Dr. Cherry. What say you on controlling side effects of the drugs, the use of Prostate Support, the continued exercise use for osteoporosis, and what else can you suggest as palliative treatment? Thank you, Ivan.
